I hope everyone had a restful and fun Thanksgiving break. Students will have technology this week, art the following week, and then music the week before the break. This means that we will not have P.E. until January. In the classroom, we use a really fun website called Go Noodle for brain breaks, stretches, and other exercises. Our students like this so much they asked me to add a link to our website so they can access it at home. It is FREE, but also intended for classroom use. You may have to create an account at home to use it, but it really doesn't matter that your home is not a classroom. Your child should know enough about it to get started once an account has been created. Please consider using this as an exercise option during the cold evenings and weekends- especially since we will not go to P.E. for several weeks. Click here to find the link!
I have also updated the Student Blog page, and students have already completed this blog activity at school. Please encourage them to participate in our blog, and remind them that they will earn extra points on our Class Dojo for 'Seeking Opportunities to Learn' by doing so.
Finally, students will have an opportunity to shop for their friends and family at our Santa Shop on Monday, December 9th. Our scheduled day for shopping is the last day the Santa Shop will be open, so please remember to send money in with your child if they wish to participate.
Please let me know if you have any questions, comments, or concerns!
Highest Regards,
Gina Weber
