This week, we will be wrapping up many of the projects we started last week. Students will go to P.E. through Thursday, and begin technology on Friday. In ELA, students will begin to plan their own 'steps in a process' writing, and in math we will finish up our current unit. We will also continue our study of historical perspective in social studies.
Don't forget that this is the last week in the month of February. Students are to complete their Reading Log Challenge in order to earn a Book It! coupon for this month. In addition, students are encouraged to participate in our student blogging opportunity. The due date for this will be, Friday, March 7th. Students who provide a complete and thorough retelling with an opinion paragraph will receive a ScootPad homework pass, and their names will be entered in a drawing for prizes!
Mark your calendars! On Friday, March 7th, we will celebrate Dr. Seuss. Students are invited to wear their pajamas on this day, and bring in their favorite Dr. Seuss book to read. As always, please let me know if you have any questions, comments, or concerns.
Highest Regards,
Gina Weber
