Beginning Monday, April 8th, we will be traveling the world through a variety of books including informational texts, legends, and folk tales. Below you will see a map of the world where we will post all of the places we visit on our reading journey. The map will be updated regularly, and I invite you to post your comments about the texts you read, the things you discover, and your opinions about the stories and countries we learn about. Be sure to visit this blog often and share your thoughts!

You may be talking about the marker that is on the Arabian Sea. This was mentioned in a text that one of your classmates read today. He wanted to locate it on the map, so we decided to include a marker so we could all find it again.

Oh, I think the one in Colorado was actually a marker for our country. A classmate read about astronauts from the United States traveling to the moon in a rocket. If you click on the markers, you should be able to read a fun fact about that country.

please don't ask why if the marker in new York is pointing to the middle of no-ware. (Though i highly doubt it is since new York is a vary busy state and should have a-lot of roads and other things.)
