If you look in your student's blue Communication Folder, you will notice a chart. These were added today to help all students to communicate their classroom behavior to you. Students will receive two round 'chips' at the start of each day. They will earn and loose the chips based on their behavior throughout the day. This includes their behavior during related arts, the cafeteria, and at recess. At the end of the day, students who have two chips will add a dot to their chart. Once the chart is filled, students will be allowed to get a prize out of the prize box! Don't be alarmed if your student does not have a dot every day. We all have good days and bad days, and this is understandable. Hopefully, though students will earn a dot for most days in each week and fill up their chart each month! Please have a chat with your student this weekend about the importance of behaving respectfully at school each day, not just to earn a dot, but to help make our classroom environment on that is centered around the joys of learning! Thank you for your support, and have a great weekend!
Highest Regards,
Gina Weber
